In October 2018, The Conservation Alliance invested $879,000 in grassroots conservation organizations. Each grant went to a project working to secure permanent protection for a specific threatened wild place. We direct organizations to use our funding over the course of a 12-month period, and we ask each group to submit a six-month interim report and a 12-month final report. These reports play a key role in helping us determine the return on our investment.

Conservation Alliance grantees funded in October 2018 and March 2019 reported 14 conservation victories, permanently protecting 14,325,235 acres, 330 river miles and one climbing area.

On October 1, we received 22 final reports and 22 interim reports.  Click here to download a PDF of the October 2019 Grantee Report Summaries
