The Conservation Alliance Awards $720,000 to 20 Grassroots Conservation Organizations in 2025 Member Collective Grant Cycle

Grants are being awarded to 20 community-led organizations to protect public lands, restore critical habitat, and elevate local and indigenous leadership

TCA 2025 Member Collective Grantees
Since 1989, The Conservation Alliance (TCA) has awarded $34.5 million to support community-led conservation projects across North America. In its latest member collective grant cycle, TCA awarded $720,000 to 20 organizations protecting wild places, restoring biodiversity, and supporting Indigenous and local leadership.

This cycle includes projects across 12 U.S. states (Alaska, California, Colorado, Georgia, Indiana, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming) and one in British Columbia. Seven of the organizations are BIPOC-led, and three are first-time recipients of TCA funding.

“At a time when ecosystems, wildlife, and community access to nature are facing increasing threats, our member collective grants reflect a growing commitment to bold conservation efforts led by the people most connected to these landscapes,” said Kim Paymaster, Grant Program Director at The Conservation Alliance. “This round includes three grants to organizations that were first funded through TCA’s Confluence Program, continuing our commitment to elevate the critical conservation work of BIPOC communities. The full list of 2025 grants includes a diverse array of projects across North America that seek to conserve new landscapes and defend and restore those already protected. We’re honored to help fund this work and grateful to our member companies for partnering with us in this process.”

Funding decisions were informed by TCA’s member companies and their employees, creating a collaborative effort to push forward dynamic and impactful conservation campaigns.
