The Alaska Wilderness League is the lead organization working to protect the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge from oil development, and the Tongass National Forest from logging. We made this grant to support AWL’s America’s Arctic Campaign to protect the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge from oil development. Our funds will be used immediately to fight a new proposal to open much of the Arctic Ocean to new offshore oil development.
