The Project: Permanently protect the Caja del Rio’s roughly 106,000-acre landscape that contains tens of thousands of iconic petroglyphs, countless sacred sites, a high degree of climate resiliency critical to ensuring habitat connectivity, 85 miles of hiking/mountain bike trails, 350 climbing routes at over 20 sites, and over 22 miles of Class III river rapids.
