The Southern Environmental Law Center (SELC) is working to defend the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) from two major attacks by the Trump administration. At both the national and regional levels, SELC is leading a comprehensive campaign focused on communications, outreach, and litigation to defeat the Trump administration’s attack on NEPA. SELC will use our funding to: 1) challenge the new CEQ rule and the Forest Service rule once it is finalized, 2) work with a Biden Administration to quickly reverse NEPA changes, and/or 3) challenge the rule when it affects local projects on the ground.
