To secure the passage of the ORE Act, which will: establish the 98,000-acre Rogue Canyon Recreation Area in southwest Oregon and the 30,000-acre Molalla Recreation Area in rural Clackamas County; expand the Wild Rogue Wilderness by 60,000 acres; and permanently protect 100,000 acres in the Baldface, Rough & Ready, and Hunter Creek watersheds of southwest Oregon from the threat of nickel strip mining.
