We made this grant to Earthjustice to use legal means to ensure the permanent protection of our nation’s national monuments and the laws that uphold them. We made the grant in response to the Trump Administration’s attempt to reduce the size of Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monuments, which Earthjustice is challenging in court.
