Columbia Land Trust is committed to conserving and caring for the vital lands, waters, and wildlife of the Columbia River region, through sound science and strong relationships. Since its inception in 1990, it has grown from an all-volunteer nonprofit to one of the largest land trusts in the Pacific Northwest. Over the last three decades, Columbia Land Trust has conserved over 50,000 acres of land, in a focus area that stretches from east of the Cascades, along 250 miles of the Columbia River, to the Pacific Ocean. Recognized as a leader in adaptive land management, the organization stewards over 30,000 acres throughout the region. One of the Land Trust’s core strengths is collaborating through partnership, in order to advance a scale of conservation that far exceeds what it could achieve alone.
