National Park Trust (NPT), is a land conservancy and environmental education nonprofit. NPT’s mission is dedicated to preserving parks today and creating park stewards for tomorrow. For nearly 35 years, NPT has enhanced our national park system by working with the National Park Service (NPS) and other agencies to maintain the integrity of our nation’s parks through the acquisition of high-priority parklands – many are located within national park boundaries. To date, NPT’s work has benefited 40 national park units in 29 states, Washington, D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
