Vermont Land Trust

The mission of the Vermont Land Trust is to conserve land for the future of Vermont. The group focuses on the protection of the state’s working farms, productive forests, and beloved community lands. Since 1977, they have permanently conserved over 570,000 acres, or almost ten percent of all the land in Vermont.
