We supported the Adirondack Council’s Adirondack Park Additions Program; a campaign working to acquire and protect up to 200,000 acres of forested wilderness in New York’s Adirondack Park. 90,000 acres have been acquired and put into conservation protection. An additional 60,000 acres have been approved for protection and should be acquired by Summer 2012.
