Maloney Creek

Forterra successfully acquired Maloney Creek, a 300-acre property adjacent to the Alpine Lakes, Wild Sky and Henry M. Jackson Wilderness Areas in Washington State. The Maloney Creek parcel contains mature and old-growth forests and more than one mile of riparian habitat. Forterra is now working with local partners to develop trails throughout the area, including a trail to the top of a lookout with 280-degree views of the valley, an ADA accessible overlook, and connector trails. The property provides critical habitat for the northern spotted owl, marbled murrelet, bull trout, grizzly bear, Canada lynx and gray wolf.
