Appalachian Trail Corridor Acquisition

The Trust for Public Land (TPL) used Conservation Alliance funding to acquire a 384-acre property surrounding a mile-long section of the Appalachian Trail near Stamford, Vermont. TPL transferred the property to the Green Mountain National Forest in December, 2015. Learn more here.

Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument

Anthony’s Nose

Lake George Land Conservancy (LGLC) acquired 18 acres at the base of Anthony’s Nose, an iconic peninsula at the north end of Lake George, NY. This acquisition provides public access to the whole 189-acre property, which was acquired by LGLC in 2000 and includes the 1,265-ft summit of Record Hill.
