This six-month program teaches participants about TCA’s current priority campaigns and equips them to execute impactful advocacy strategies in collaboration with their employers. Participants will gain a number of skills and benefits including:

  • Exclusive insights into conservation issues and how to execute effective business advocacy.
  • Communications, policy, and leadership skill training a well as opportunities for practical application.
  • Professional connections to like-minded peers, industry leaders, and political stakeholders.
  • Features at TCA events and across its social platforms, and opportunities to showcase leadership to colleagues and the greater outdoor industry.

Program Overview

  • Monthly Engagements: 90-minute virtual sessions once a month over the course of six months
  • Strategic Advocacy: Periodic “Office Hours” with TCA staff to plan personalized advocacy efforts on one or more of TCA’s priority campaigns
  • Network Leadership: A leading role at one of TCA’s flagship events – the annual TCA D.C. Fly-In or the TCA Summit
