Protecting National Monuments

Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance (SUWA) is leading the effort against a Congressional Review Act resolution that would permanently eliminate the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument’s management plan-the governing framework for 1.9 million acres. SUWA will conduct direct outreach to key leaders, coordinate with local, state, and national organizations and businesses, and implement a public education campaign.
